FAQ
Questions and answers
The questions people ask about Chromory.
The game
What is Chromory?
A color sequence memory game for Android. Colors light up one after another; you tap them back in the same order, and each round adds one color. See How to play.
Is it the classic color-sequence game?
It is inspired by it, with more: four modes from 4 to 10 colors, a speed you choose, the Mirror and Shuffle twists, and a daily challenge. Chromory is not related to any other brand or game.
Is there an iPhone version?
No. Chromory is an Android game, for Android 7.0 and later. iPhone apps with similar names, such as Chroma Memory, are not related.
How long can a game last?
As long as you make no mistake: the sequence grows by one color each round. Most games last a few minutes.
Modes and difficulty
Which mode should I start with?
Classic, with 4 colors at normal speed. Move up to Advanced I when it feels easy. See Game modes.
What are Mirror and Shuffle?
Two twists. Mirror: repeat the sequence backwards. Shuffle: the buttons change places every round. See Mirror and Shuffle.
How is the score counted?
The colors you reproduced, multiplied by bonuses for the speed, the mode and the variant. See Modes and options.
The daily challenge
Is the daily challenge the same for everyone?
Yes. Every player gets the same sequence on the same date, whatever the language of the phone.
Can I try the daily challenge twice?
No. One try a day, and no second chance. A new challenge comes the next day.
Accessibility and privacy
Can I play if I am color-blind?
Yes. The color-blind mode uses a safe palette and puts a distinct shape on every button. See Color-blind mode.
Is Chromory free?
Yes. Every mode and the daily challenge are free. Ads pay for the game, and a one-time purchase removes them. There is no subscription.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The game, the daily challenge and your scores work without internet. See A memory game that works offline.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account. Your scores and settings stay on your phone.
